December is here and we are completing the program for Australia with a six-day acute complex care course, then the six-day acute cardiac care course followed by the final advanced life support courses for this year.
We will then tidy up the office and get ready to travel back to New Zealand for the Christmas and New Year break with family in Gisborne.
Anne and Graham wish all our customers past and present the compliments of the season, and our hope for you all is that you can enjoy a happy and safe time with family and friends. For those who will be working as the rest of us have time off, thank you for your dedication and for keeping our health systems running at this busy time when so many unfortunate people will remain hospitalised or in need of care.
The 2015 schedule of public events is still being worked on, and is a bit light-on for public events due to the amount of work with health boards who are finding it more economical to have us present programs in-house for them, rather than send staff to public events. This has been an increasing trend over the last few years, and the reason we have less time for public events. Some of these boards do allow attendees from other health boards or hospitals for a fee, so we hope to list these events with details of contact people in the future so you can check availability.
